Your first 7 days are free. You do not need a card.
- Create your accountOpen your account page, choose Sign up, and use your email and a password of 8 or more characters. You can also continue with Google when it is available.
- Check your planThe top card shows your free trial and the days left. During the trial you get the Creator features.
- Open a toolUnder Your tools, press Open on Background Remover. The other tools are coming soon.
- Come back any timeLog in on any computer with the same email. Your plan follows your account.
New here? Open your account page after signing up and a short tour will show you around. You can replay it with the "Take the tour" button.
Background Remover
Cut the person out of a picture and save it as a PNG with a transparent background.
- Add a pictureDrop it on the big box, click the box to choose a file, or paste with Ctrl+V.
- Pick the qualityStandard is fast and works for most pictures. Pro is more careful with faces, microphones and thin objects. Pro has a lock icon until your plan includes it.
- Wait for the barThe first run downloads the AI model, so it takes longer. After that it is much quicker.
- DownloadPress Download PNG. To start over, drop another picture.
Your picture is processed in your own browser. It is not uploaded to our server.
Tips for a cleaner cutout
Use a sharp picture with good light. Keep the person in the middle and not too small. If the edge looks rough, try Pro. A computer with a graphics card (GPU) is faster.
It says "Please upgrade your plan"
That feature is not in your plan. Press See plans to compare plans. Pro quality, bigger picture sizes and unlimited pictures are in the paid plans and the free trial.
Plans and the free trial
The trial lasts 7 days from sign-up. After it ends, your account stays open on the Free plan.

Paid plans open soon. Only one free trial is given per device, so a second account on the same computer starts on the Free plan.
Your account
I forgot my password
On the Log in tab, press "Forgot password?" and enter your email. You will get a reset link, or our team will send you one. The link works once for one hour. If you signed up with Google, just log in with Google.
I moved to a new computer or browser
Open your account page, open "Moved to a new computer or browser?" and press "Free my device slot". You can do this once a day.
I have a license key
On your account page, open "Have a license key?", paste the key and press Add key.
How do I change my password?
Open your account page, go to Account settings, and fill in your current password and the new one. Your other logins end, and you stay logged in on this device. Your email cannot be changed because it is tied to your account.
How do I delete my account?
In Account settings, open "Delete my account", enter your password and type DELETE. Your account, plan and trial are removed. The email can never be used to make a new account.
Is my password safe?
Yes. We store only a scrambled version of it that cannot be turned back into your password. Nobody on our team can see it.
Questions and answers
Do I need a credit card for the trial?
No. Sign up with an email and a password. That is all.
What happens after 7 days?
The trial ends and you move to the Free plan. Your account and settings stay. You can use the Free features, and you can upgrade when paid plans open.
Are my pictures uploaded anywhere?
No. Background Remover runs in your browser. Only your account and plan checks go to our server.
Why is the first picture slow?
The browser downloads the AI model the first time. It is saved afterwards, so next pictures are faster.
Which browser should I use?
A recent Chrome or Edge on a computer works best, especially with a graphics card. Other browsers can be slower.
What do you store about me?
Your email, your plan, and the device and network details we use to stop repeated free trials. We do not store your pictures.
